Special Edition: Nashville's (???) Coffee Cafes: 8th & Roast
Day 9: 8th & Roast
This week, I was out of town and could not make it to another coffee shop in Columbia, but this one in Nashville was worth the mention. I tried 8th & Roast located in the Nashville International Airport.
Coffee Selection
I chose to try a small Iced Caramel Latte with standard whole milk. This came out to be a total of $6.01.
Ratings
Taste- 9.5/10
I truly mean it when I say this might have been the best latte I have ever had. The espresso was delicious. It was sweet, but not overly sweet. There was a generous amount of espresso to milk. I kept wishing I had gotten the large size. It truly was slightly life-changing (and this was airport coffee too!)
Atmosphere- N/A/10
This location was inside the airport, so it was decorated tastefully, but did not have much seating which to be expected. It definitely has a more modern feel to it on the inside, but I do not believe it is appropriate to rate the atmosphere due to its location. However, there is an actual coffee shop in Nashville, so if I ever make it up there again, I will have to stop by!
Affordability- 7/10
$6.01 is not bad for a latte, although it was on the smaller side. However, I was also in an airport, so likely the price was a little inflated than what it would be in the real shop. I have no complaints!
Overall- 8.25/10
I am a HUGE fan of this coffee place, and I wish I had one near me at home. If you ever have the luxury of going to Nashville, I would definitely recommend to try it. This would probably be my favorite spot if it were just a little closer.
