Introduction

About me!

Hi all! My name is Ashlyn, and I am a little bit of a coffee connoisseur. When moving to Columbia for college, I was overwhelmed and excited by the amount of local coffee shops in the area. I truly enjoy the experience of trying new places (even though I still will always love Starbucks). Throughout my blogging journey, I hope to take you all on a wonderous adventure by describing the taste, atmosphere, affordability and additional notes of each coffee shop for each of you to make a better well-informed on where the best place is for you to spend your coffee money on. I do like my coffee on the sweeter side, but definitely not overly sweet, so this likely will impact my ratings. You have been warned :)

Rating Set-Up

I will give each category a different score out of ten and average all scores for an overall score of the coffee shop. 

Taste

The taste will be judged on the sweetness/bitterness of coffee, espresso flavor, and additional flavor syurp that may be added. 

Atmosphere

The atmosphere will be judged on music played, availability of tables, and overall vibe of cafe. 

Affordability

The affordability will be judged on relative price for a coffee, especially as a broke college student like me!
